- Carefully remove the rim tape and check it for physical damage. If it appears to be in good condition, you can reuse it on the new wheel; if not, we recommend replacing it with a new one. You can always use any rim tape of your choice.
- Install all of the above mentioned parts onto the new wheel.
- Remove both the inner and outer tires and the brake disc rotor from the old wheel.
5. Install Pseudo e-Shifter

- Install the cable bracket using the bolt you saved from step 3.
- Slide the Pseudo e-Shifter into place.

6. Install 2-Speed Hub Rear Wheel
Action :
-
- Check the chain's wear. If it's worn, replace it (note: a new chain is not included in the kit).
- Remove 1 full link from the chain (the rear sprocket on the new wheel is slightly smaller, so this adjustment is necessary)
- Install the new wheel.
- Check the chain's wear. If it's worn, replace it (note: a new chain is not included in the kit).
7. Install the Chain Guard and Tensioner
Action :
-
- Close the chain guard and install the tensioner onto the frame.
- Align the Pseudo Shifter bracket with the holes for the e-Shifter.
- Align the chain tensioner properly with the slotted holes.
-
Make sure the metal bracket does not touch the chain.

8. Check and Adjust the Brake Caliper
Action :
-
- Align the brake caliper.
- Make sure the disc is not rubbing and the brake pads are free from movement.
- Take the bike for a test ride to check for proper alignment.

Troubleshooting tips
- Error 44 : If error 44 is still displayed on the screen, there may be a problem with the wiring or the Cartridge, not with the E-shifter.
- App settings : With the Pseudo E-shifter, the shift points are fixed at specific speeds. The app settings will no longer affect shifting. Make sure the shift point is set to the appropriate shift point.
